I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. I moved with my family to Atlanta, GA shortly after graduating from nursing school in 1998.

This is my first endeavor into the world of writing however; I have been a nurse at a wonderful hospital, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, for fourteen years now. In my job, I unfortunately have taken care of many children who have sadly been physically hurt by people that they loved. After taking care of one very special little patient at my hospital, I was inspired to write this story for her and all of the other amazingly resilient children that I have seen survive through sad and painful tragedies in their life.
I wanted to write a story where all of the children get to have a happy ending since it so rarely happens that way in real life. I have also written several other stories regaling the amazing adventures of the orphans of The Jewelia House and hope to be blessed with the opportunity to have those stories published in the near future.

A grand adventure awaits you here inside The Treasures of Destiny. In a mysterious cave deep in the earth, four very special orphans will discover that they are each destined to create something amazing. With the help of the magical jewels that they find there, they will each set off on a fantastical journey filled with fun, excitement, danger, and mystery.
Journey along with Juni, Monty, Jach, and Dax as their adventures lead them to; encounter a talking bunny while exploring an enchanted garden, learn to grow all the money that their wonderful new family could ever need, paddle around in a river of chocolate while dodging delicious blasts of chocolate rain in order to get to the coolest chocolate factory you could ever imagine, and if all of that isn’t enough excitement for you then you can join the children as they enter a magical land filled with all kinds of wild animals that they get to play with and learn to take care of.
Don’t miss out on the exciting mystery of discovering what kind of outrageous inventions a journey like this could possibly lead to.
